A Question for You

courage fear-busting soul's calling cards

This is the card I pulled from the Soul’s Calling Card Deck this morning.  It totally blows me away that I created this card deck! I selected the card, closed my eyes and breathed deeply as I asked myself this question.  I spent much of the day thinking about this question, and I also asked everyone that I coached today the same question.  This question has been my guide today.

What do YOU want so much that you’d be willing to face your fears to accomplish?

Let’s face it.  Fear is going to show up.  The road to making significant changes in your life is lined with fear.  It’d be easy to do anything if you had no fear.  So the real question is, what are you willing to face your fears to accomplish?

Because unless you’ve already transcended into another dimension, you’re going to feel fear as soon as you inch out of your comfort zone.

What do you want so much that you’re willing to deal with self-doubt, confusion, not belonging, being criticized, financial insecurity, overwhelm, dread of speaking in public, or haters?

Because that’s what we’re talking about when we are talking about fear.  Feeling crappy. The truth is, at this moment, you aren’t going to get killed for publishing a blog post or starting a movement, or writing a book.  You’re just going to feel queasy and uncertain and anxious for a while.  You might question your worthiness.  You might fear that you aren’t good enough, or that maybe people won’t like you, but you aren’t going to get eaten by a tiger!

What do YOU want so much that you’d be willing to feel bad, to accomplish it?

Ponder on that.

And then do it!
