The Soul's Calling® Creed - A Manifesto.

The Soul’s Calling® Creed is our guiding framework, a journey of remembrance and reclamation. It puts words to the roadmap.

It’s how we stop hiding, unravel the old conditioning, and return to the truth of who we are and the sacred work we’re here to do.

🔸We dared to tell ourselves the truth.

🔸We chose change, even when we didn’t know what it would look like.
🔸We decided there was nothing wrong with us.

Meet Bev

Hi, I’m Bev Barnes, Master Life Coach, Mentor for Soul-led Coaches, Purpose Discovery Coach, and Creator of the Soul’s Calling® Roadmap Coaching Process.

For over 30 years, I’ve been walking beside women who are ready to bring their real work into the world.

Not the business plan version.
Not the cookie-cutter coaching model.
The true work. The soul’s work.

I’ve taught and mentored hundreds of new life coaches — first as a Certified Master Life Coach and Wayfinder Instructor, and now through my own programs: the EMERGE Coach Mentorship, my Soul's Calling Coach Training,  numerous intensive on-line courses and in the self-study guided journey, the Soul’s Calling Workbook.

I hold advanced degrees in psychoeducation and Brief & Strategic Therapy, and I’ve trained in Internal Family Systems, MBTI® (Myers Briggs Type Indicator), and as a Certified Sparketype® Advisor.

But what qualifies me most isn’t my credentials, it’s who I am in the room.

Women tell me they feel safe with me.

Safe enough to unravel what’s been holding them back.

Safe enough to stop performing.

Safe enough to finally become who they really are.

That’s the magic of this work.
It’s not just strategy, it’s soul.

And when the space is safe enough, everything begins to emerge.

Why I Created This Work

I know what it’s like to be successful on the outside while feeling invisible and unfulfilled on the inside.

To silence my own gifts in order to fit into roles that didn’t feel true.

My greatest wound was being unseen. Growing up Black in a white society taught me to fit in.

But my soul's work required me to stand out and shine.

My greatest triumph is actually creating the work that allowed me to fully express myself, and doing it for the last 30 years!

That’s why I created the Soul’s Calling Academy.

So I can teach and mentor you and share the lessons I've learned. So I can open the door for you to walk through. So you don’t have to keep circling your calling.

So you don’t have to keep waiting for permission.

So you can finally step into the work you were meant to do - with confidence, clarity, and soul.
