Your Soul Self Lives In Unexpected Places
I had a cool experience yesterday. Some friends picked me up and we went to do a Tarot card reading on another friend. (I don't read the cards - I was co-opted to hold the energy field).
This was TOTALLY unexpected.
I dropped what I was doing - on my computer and I was picked up in the middle of the afternoon for a girl's adventure! (I think I manifested this...)
Laughter, going to see a new artisanal jewelry store, stopping for drinks and snacks. Lots of laughter – a few tears (with the reading) and just plain old fun – the type I used to have as a kid.
This must be why I love facilitating groups & retreats.
It’s just like this.
Fun.
Deep.
Lots of laughter and a few tears.
Connecting with an energy that feels bigger than all of us, where all of us are needed.
And just because I was there - I got a clear message - the name for my new coaches mentoring program showed up. (To be honest it was an old name - but I was clearly told to use this name now.)
Here's my suggestion for you this mid-summer week - do something different.
Step away from the to-do list.
Take a barefoot walk.
Write with no purpose.
Let yourself wander, rest, float, create.
Arrange a spontaneous get-together with some friends – even if you don’t know them that well, even if you haven’t ever done that with them.
Your Soul Self lives in those spaces where you stop trying and start listening.
Start listening – and do it in fun!
